Collection of 2nd Offering for Methodist Schools’ Foundation

We will be collecting a second offering next Sunday for Methodist Schools’ Foundation.

The Methodist Schools’ Foundation (MSF) supports the 16 Methodist Schools in their mission to provide a holistic education for our children within a Christian environment.
Annual funds are needed and raised for upgrading facilities and teaching aids, as well as bursaries and financial assistance to needy students.
In the last 27 years, more than $13.16 million has been disbursed and thousands of children have benefited.
MSF believes that every child, regardless of family circumstances, deserves our best support. Your love offering will help provide amenities and programmes for every student within our Methodist schools, that they may benefit fully and develop to their full potential.

Tax Deduction Receipts
The Methodist Schools’ Foundation is an Institution of Public Character (IPC). You can also choose to give your offerings directly to MSF and the minimum amount for Tax Deduction Receipts (TDR) is $100. However, if you want to use electronic mode to give via PayNow or Bank transfer, please write to MSF separately via email to leah.chan@gmethodistorg.sg, attach your proof of transfer, and provide your IC Name, IC no, address and contact number for the TDR.

Offerings sent directly to SKMC will not be issued TDR.

Every donation counts! To God be all Glory!

Alpha @SKMC 2025 (Adult & Youth Alpha)

The annual Alpha train is arriving earlier next year on 23 Feb (Sunday).

For the first time, the Adult and Youth Alpha are collaborating with the hope to bring family closer and to reach out together as a family of Christ.

Let us begin by praying for the 3 persons that God put in your heart to invite for Alpha. Start connecting with them.

For more information, contact Wilfred (9760 1079), Wiwie (8161 2931) or 小燕 (Maria) (9628 3562).

Jesse Tree

During the Advent Season we welcome children to join the Jesse Tree adventure. The Jesse Tree is named from Isaiah 11:1-2
“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon Him.”

The Jesse Tree represents Jesus’ family tree, starting from Jesse, the father of King David. Creating a Jesse Tree for your family is a fun, hands-on way to walk through the story of Jesus. As you read through the daily devotions, you can add an ornament to your tree. Each one represents the ancestors of Jesus and the events leading to Jesus’ birth. We like to invite all the children to bring one or two ornaments to hang on our Church Christmas Tree in the sanctuary. During offering, the children are invited to come up to hang their ornament on the tree.

Parents, you may access the guide to this Jesse Tree Adventure by clicking here. Have a fun time with the children during their holidays.

SKMC is Hiring

We are actively seeking passionate individuals to join our office team!

Available Positions:
Local Ministry Staff (Youth Ministry)
Local Ministry Staff (Children Ministry)

We invite you to prayerfully consider if you could be the one to fill these important roles and sustain the vital work of SKMC.

For more information, please visit https://skmc.org.sg/careers/.

Lift Upgrading

The church lift is undergoing upgrading from 18 November to 20 December 2024, and will be out of service during this period.
To support congregants with mobility challenges in accessing Sunday worship services, MPR 1-4/5 will be available for live streaming of Sunday Services and Holy Communion.
A compiled list of affected events and their newly assigned rooms are also on level 1 notice board for your reference.
We appreciate your patience as we make this important upgrade. Please keep the church, staff, and contractors in prayer for a smooth process.
For assistance or clarification, contact the Church Office or Raymond Khoo (Chair of the Property Management Committee).
