2nd Offering for Women’s Society of Christian Service (WSCS) Sunday

We will be collecting a second offering for WSCS today, 4 May 2025. The offering collected will support the following ministries and more:

1. MWS Girls’ Residence
Providing a safe environment for female teenagers who have violated the law or from troubled background. The staff and counsellors help to bring about healing, self-discovery and transformation for the teenagers, aiming for eventual reintegration to their families and community.

2. CAC Counselling Service
Supporting the facility used by CAC trained counsellors to help members, their families and those who are in need of counselling and support.

3. WE (West-East) Malaysian Fellowship
Caring, supporting & witnessing to the Malaysians during their transition to the new environment in Singapore. Many are vulnerable and may wavier in their faith when faced with challenges. This ministry facilitates fellowship, cell group activities, community service, social care and temporary placement of stay when need arises.

4. Foreign Workers’ Ministry
Partnering with a local mission agency to minister, care, befriend and witness among the Chinese, Bangladeshi & Indian workers.

4. P1 P2 Chinese and English Enrichment Classes for Migrant Children
To improve their standard of English and Chinese through enrichment classes. To give parenting talks and stress management talks and enrichment activities for their parents. To evangelise to them eventually.

AldersgateSG 2025 Celebration Service & Lectures

AldersgateSG is here again and it’s time to celebrate our Wesleyan heritage!

John Wesley’s encounter with the Holy Spirit, where he felt “strangely warmed”,
marked a new conviction of his sonship in God. Our founder’s emphasis on a believer’s personal and social holiness continues to be an important aspect of our Methodist tradition and guiding principles. Let us not forget our roots as we celebrate AldersgateSG 2025, as Bishop Emeritus Dr Robert Solomon share on “Scriptural Holiness”.

Lecture
23 May | Friday | 7.30 pm – 9 pm | Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church (TA2)
Topic: Growing Together in Holiness
Speaker: Bishop Emeritus Dr Robert Solomon
*This session will be held on-site only, in English

Aldersgate Celebration Service
24 May | Saturday | 5 – 7 pm | Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church (TA2)
