SK26 Thanksgiving

Last Sunday, we gathered to give thanks. Twenty-six years in, we rejoice in God’s provision of our land lease and in all He has done for SKMC over the past year.

But this past year hasn’t just been about provision. It’s been a year of restoration, in our community and in our hearts. Wherever there was distance, God has been drawing us back together. Wherever there was weariness, He has been renewing us.

And so, we remain as one, not because the road ahead is clear, but because we’re choosing to navigate God’s vision for SKMC over the next 30 years together.

To everyone who gave their time, energy, and heart to make SK26 possible, thank you. Let us continue to give God all the glory and praise.

Baptism, Confirmation and Membership Class

If you are looking to be baptised, confirmed, or to transfer your membership during the upcoming Baptism Sunday on 20 December 2026, please register for the class by 18 October 2026 via Church Center App.

Singapore 7 Dialect Gospel Rally

On Saturday, 10 October at 10:00 AM, Singapore will host an unprecedented series of evangelistic rallies conducted simultaneously in seven Chinese dialects.

Through the familiar and heartfelt languages of Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka, Foochow, Hinghwa and Hainanese, we hope to share the love and salvation of Jesus Christ with friends from different dialect groups, especially the elderly.

Posters for the rallies are available at the reception counter. Everyone is welcome to take one and invite family members and friends to join us, so that more people may have the opportunity to hear the Gospel in the language closest to their hearts.

Crisis Relief Offering (Second Offering)

The recent earthquake in Indonesia and flash floods in Nepal have caused many casualties and displaced many people from their homes. As God’s children, we are called to care for those who are suffering and displaced, and to bring God’s love, mercy, and compassion to their lives.

CAC’s Board of Witness & Evangelism has drawn from the Crisis Relief Fund to support Indonesia and Nepal during this difficult period.

As such, we will be collecting a second offering next Sunday to support our Crisis Relief fund, so that we are able to provide the necessary support in a timely manner during times of distress.

May every gift, no matter how big or small, be a means through which those affected can experience God’s love and faithfulness, and receive the help they need to rebuild their homes and their lives.

Job Description:

• Report to Office Executive
• Prepare weekly order of service and bulletins for Mandarin and Hakka Services, including announcements and other necessary details.
• Design promotional materials and prepare worship services for special events, such as Mid-Autumn festival gathering, CNY reunion dinner, etc.
• Assist ministry leaders/members with ministries matters and administrative tasks.
• Any other administrative work assigned by pastors and reporting officer.

Thanksgiving for Tg. Pinang Missions Trip from 4 – 6 Sep

The team had a blessed time visiting the old folks’ home spending time with them. We also taught Chinese tuition and Sunday school. All glory to God.

Vegetables Sales – Creation Care Gardening Group

The Creation Care Gardening Group has recently harvested a bounty of vegetables and are sharing them with everyone! They are fully organic and have been grown right here in SKMC, reducing their carbon footprint to your table. The healthy greens will be available at Level 1 for a love gift to the Land Lease Renewal Fund. Care for yourself, for the church, and for creation by getting them after service!
