Tanjung Pinang Missions Team Prayer
The team will be heading to Tanjung Pinang and we’re grateful for a good mix of youths and adults serving together on this journey. This trip focuses on supporting the local church’s Sunday service and their tuition ministry outreach programme. Join us in prayer!
How we can pray:
- For the team to be united as one.
- For the team to be sensitive to the Lord’s leading and for wisdom and strength as we serve the local community.
- For the team to be united with the local church in Tanjung Pinang, to go forth with the Holy Spirit’s leading.
- For our safety as we travel to complete God’s mission.
Parent Fellowship Xmas
On 13 December, from 2 to 5 pm, while our children are enjoying their Christmas celebration, we will be holding a Parent Fellowship here at church. This will be a meaningful time for parents to connect, share, and for us to listen to your family needs. As we plan for our 2026 Family Life programmes, we want to hear your heart and understand how the church can better support you in your parenting journey. All parents are warmly invited. Admission is free, and refreshments will be provided. Do join us as we journey together to strengthen our families and our faith.
Kluang Missions Trip
The team is going to Kluang, Johor to teach English to children to support the local church in its outreach to the displaced community there.
How we can pray:
- Good health, safety and God’s protection.
- Good coordination with the local people and among team members.
- Bring joy and good learning to the children through the teaching of English.
- Team members may experience God in a new and deeper way.

New Year Countdown + optional overnight stay
As we enter the Advent season, we step into a time of waiting, watching, and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. Advent reminds us that God meets us in the waiting, with hope, peace, joy, and love, and invites us to look again at who Jesus truly is.
Throughout this season, we’ll reflect on the richness of Christ’s character:
• Jesus, the Prince of Peace
• Jesus, the Lamb of God
• Jesus, the Light of the World
• Jesus, the Living Water
On 21 December, we also celebrate a key moment in our church with our Baptismal, Confirmation and Membership Reception Service, welcoming new believers and members into our community.
On Christmas Day, we rejoice in the birth of the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and the Good Shepherd who knows us and leads us with love on the last Sunday of the year.
We end the season together at our Watchnight Celebration, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness and ending with a joyful countdown to the new year. And for those who want to linger a little longer in fellowship, the church will be open for a simple sleepover — a cosy way to enter 2026 together.
All are welcome to join us this season as we worship, celebrate, and encounter the One who brings peace, light, and life.
