1st Local Conference

The 1st Local Conference will be held on 10 January 2024. Please keep all the pastors, leaders and members of the local conference in prayers as they meet.

Missions Trip Sharing Sessions

Date: 20 January 2024
Time: 2 – 4 pm
Venue: Room 2-4/5

Come and hear what God is doing in the missions field, in the lives of the local people and the trippers.
The missions trippers from both Thailand and Indonesia missions trips will share what they did and how has the trip impacted them.

Breakfast after Service

Let’s bring back the good old kampong days after our 845am service! The food, tables and chairs are back at level 1. Yes, we are serving food to everyone again but we need your understanding to continue to wash your own plates & cups. The food is priced at min $2 per plate. Your generous contribution will go into the land lease renewal fund.

Welcome Rev Andy & Rev Shawn!

Rev Andy:
He is in his late 40s, though he prefers to keep the exact age a mystery, he gave a hint that he was born in the year of the dragon. 🙂

For the past two decades, he has had the immense pleasure of being married to Val. Together, they have been blessed with three wonderful children: Tiffanie who is 19, Zachary 16, and Averie 8.

Rev Andy started fulltime ministry in 2000, starting as a youth worker in Charis Methodist Church, before joining CAC as a pastor in 2008, where he served in Charis Methodist Church (2008-2010), Grace Methodist Church (2011-2020) and Foochow Methodist Church (2022-2023).

He enjoys video games, good movies and is a (waning) supporter of Manchester United. He understands that these are hardly “spiritual” pastimes worthy of a pastor, but then again, we are all saved by the grace of God and we are still on the path to perfection! Praise God!

Rev Shawn:
Reverend Shawn Koh is in his 5th year of his service in the Chinese Annual Conference. Having pastored Ang Mo Kio Chinese Methodist Church from 2019-2022 in Mandarin, Changi Methodist Church in 2023 in English, he will be doing Mandarin Ministry (11am service) in Sengkang Methodist Church.

Reverend Shawn Koh is married with 5 children, with the eldest being 20 years old, and the youngest (twins) being 12 years old. He rides a motorcycle and enjoys reading the Bible (really!), jungle trekking and sleeping.
