Pastoral Planning Retreat 2024

We thank God for the smooth and productive Pastoral Planning Retreat that took place from 29 – 31 July 2024.

Foundation Class

The upcoming foundation class is for everyone who wants to have a firmer understanding of our Christian beliefs focusing on the Apostle creed that we recite every week. This class will also prepare you if you would like to be baptized in our church in Dec 2024.

We also encourage those who were recently baptized to join the class. There will be a total of 8 lessons starting on 11 Aug Sunday at 11am. Sign up via Church Center. We look forward to see you at the class.

CAC Sunday

Next Sunday, 11 August 2024, is designated as CAC Sunday. There will be a second collection for CAC.

This year, all the CAC pastors will be assigned to different congregations to preach.

2nd Offering
The Methodist Church practices an itinerant system where pastors commit to serving in whichever church or ministry they are appointed to. CAC Sunday reminds us that our churches belong to one annual conference, that is, CAC!

The Special 2nd Offering collected this Sunday goes toward CAC’s Central Pooling Fund, which supports CAC’s pastoral, board and ministry expenses. Thus, we appeal to the support and generosity of church members to give lovingly.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
May the Lord continue to use CAC and all of our churches for His mission of salvation to all who believe.

SK24 Tree Planting Day
Date: 28 September 2024

Meeting Point: 10 Tebing Lane (outside Whisk and Paddle)

For SK24, we want to make a symbolic commitment to the 500,000 people that we are here to stay. We hope to plant 50 trees to symbolise our commitment to root ourselves in Sengkang and grow our ministry here, and steward God’s creation for the next generation

Pastoral Teaching

The pastoral teaching for the month of August is on the 8th (Thursday), at 8pm, over zoom, on the book of Colossians. Physical lesson will be held on 18th August (Sunday) at 11am in Room 2-4.
