Community Bible Experience (CBE)
Date: 4 August – 13 October 2024
CBE was introduced at SKMC in 2018 with the following objectives:
- Re-centralizing God’s written Word in the life of the church
- Develop a habit of Scripture reading
- Encourage a culture of reading together at various level
- Foster a culture of mutual support in our faith journey
After a pause in 2023, we shall continue with the CBE in 2024, reading the book of Colossians and Philemon from the Our Daily Bread (ODB) Journey Through Series.
The daily reading includes questions for personal reflection.
When the group meets weekly, the group will share their thoughts, reflections and encouragements in response to the following questions:
- What is something you noticed for the first time?
- What questions did you have?
- Was there anything that bothered you?
- What did you learn about loving God?
- What did you learn about loving others?
Register via Church Centre, either individually or through cell. Do note that there is a max of 10 pax in each group.
For those who face difficulties in their registration via Church Centre, you may pick up a form outside the Sanctuary and drop off in the box once completed.

SKMP’s Designathon
Designathon is Methodist Preschool’s latest Signature Programme that was just launched in April this year. It is a first-of-its-kind preschool programme in Singapore, developed in partnership with Designathon Works, Netherlands. A unique curriculum is specially designed to inspire the K2 cohort to discover and learn about climate change and environment sustainability based on three themes – Plastic, Robots and Water. The programme also helps children develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity, while honing their social and communication skills through teamwork. Ultimately, the programme aims to empower #ChangemakerChildren for a better world!
