POTY Thanksgiving

D’Anchor would like thank God for a wonderful time last Friday & Saturday. We had a great time eating, jumping, chilling, running, and appreciating God’s creation together. We are also super thankful that our faithful God is bigger than all weather forecast.

We had 15 P6s and new friends who joined us for POTY, and we ask that you pray with us for meaningful friendships that have been formed to continue blooming.

Thanksgiving for North East CDC Event

Last Saturday on 18 June, 50 residents from the North East CDC visited SKMC for a community event.

We praise God that through this event, they heard the message delivered by our PIC of – peace with God and Harmony with Men through Christ our Lord.

The organising committee would like to also thank the 30 and 12 volunteers from SKMC and the Tamil Fellowship who came to host our residents with the love of God.

HeartsAlive 2022

We thank God for all the care packs that were packed last Friday! As we prepare to give out these care-packs, we hope that you can come onboard to support us in these 2 ways.

Firstly, there will be a booth downstairs, near the spiral staircase, where we will be selling blessing card sets to raise funds. Our aim is to raise $1000 to cover the cost of the care-packs.

Secondly, we hope that you can write some words of encouragement for our foreign domestic workers. You may submit them the link provided. Thank you!

Youth Sunday 2022

Youth Not-so-Sunday will be happening on 1 July from 7-10pm. We will be watching a movie called “Yes Day”. Dinner will be provided and it’s FREE!! Register on the Church Center App Now!! Registration ends on 29 June 1200H!!!

CPE: The Introduction to Prayer Experience 2022

We hope to engage everyone at 3 levels:
1. Individual prayer
2. Cell group prayer

We will provide prayer pointers related to the theme of the week and these will be sent daily (Mondays to Fridays only) via the Pastoral CARE-Net Chat. You may pray these items on your own and also join your cell group to pray and grow in interceding for these social issues:

Week 1: Justice is Coming [Methodist Social Principles] Week 2: The Celebration is Coming [Family] Week 3: The Needy are Not Coming [Social Well-Being] Week 4: The Robots are Coming [Technology] Week 5: The End is Coming [Creation Care] Week 6: The Church is Be-coming [Church]

The prayer items will be related to the sermon topic of the week. During this experience, you will have an opportunity to learn and know how to pray for the social issues pervading our world.

Pay attention to the upcoming announcement for the third level of CPE engagement.

Primary One Registration Exercise for Admission in 2023

SKMC members who wish to enrol their children in Methodist schools under Phase 2B may apply for a letter from the church. You may obtain the form from the church office via email (office@skmc.org.sg). Please submit the completed form to church office via email, latest by 13 July 2022. The registration dates for Phase 2B are 19 – 20 July. For more information, please refer to www.moe.gov.sg.
