Character and Destiny: Portraits from Esther
Dive deeper into the Book of Esther! The upcoming pulpit sermon series delves into the lives of Esther’s people, uncovering themes of faith in challenging times. How do we live as the people of God in a world often suspicious of faith? What can we hold on to when the odds are stacked against us? By examining characters in Esther, we gain insights into our own Christian journeys in Singapore’s diverse environment.
Join us and discover how faith can not only survive but thrive!
Community Bible Experience (CBE)
Date: 4 August – 13 October 2024
CBE was introduced at SKMC in 2018 with the following objectives:
- Re-centralizing God’s written Word in the life of the church
- Develop a habit of Scripture reading
- Encourage a culture of reading together at various level
- Foster a culture of mutual support in our faith journey
After a pause in 2023, we shall continue with the CBE in 2024, reading the book of Colossians and Philemon from the Our Daily Bread (ODB) Journey Through Series.
The daily reading includes questions for personal reflection.
When the group meets weekly, the group will share their thoughts, reflections and encouragements in response to the following questions:
- What is something you noticed for the first time?
- What questions did you have?
- Was there anything that bothered you?
- What did you learn about loving God?
- What did you learn about loving others?
Register via Church Centre, either individually or through cell. Do note that there is a max of 10 pax in each group.
