BoYM- Finding Your Place 2026

Calling all young adults from 18 to 35 – this announcement is for you! Registration for FYP 2026 is now open! If you’re waiting for Uni to start, in between jobs or have a block of time from January to March next year, sign up for FYP now!

FYP, or the Finding Your Place, is a 3-month holistic discipleship programme brought to you by the Board of Youth Ministry and Sterling Campus.

At FYP 2026, you’ll get to wrestle with your hard questions about faith and see how faith connects to ALL of life – including math and art! You’ll learn how to be still and hear God. You’ll get to go overseas to see God’s kingdom in action. And you’ll be part of a loving community that will support you, challenge you and help you grow deeper in God!

Here’s what one of this year’s participants said about his experience: ”I went into FYP having many doubts about God & Christianity, and I was unsure of my own faith. My 3 months in FYP have truly transformed my understanding of the faith, getting to learn more about Him & appreciating what He has done for us so much more. I have also found a  community filled with people I’ve grown to love and treasure 🙂 If you want to explore the faith with a community to grow together in Christ alongside you, FYP is the place for you!”

Thanksgiving for Tg. Pinang Missions Trip 3-5 Oct

We give thanks for the missions trip to Tanjung Pinang. The team had a wonderful fellowship at the elderly home and we praise God for the 25 adults and 15 children who came for the mooncake outreach event. 2 brothers accepted Christ. It was so beautiful to serve together with the pastor during worship service and teach in the sunday school.

Ohana Sunday 

On 26 October, we’ll celebrate Ohana Sunday, marking the finale of our SK25 celebrations. 

Our theme is “Welcome – As Christ Welcomed You” – reminding us that SKMC is a family where everyone is welcomed in Christ, and no one is left behind or forgotten. 

At both the 8:45 and 11:00 services, our Ohana class will lead us in worship. 

After the 8:45 service, join the English Ohana Workshop,  where we’ll learn how to build inclusive small groups and do life together across all abilities and differences. 

After the 11:00 service, stay for a special CAC–KIN event：the launch of our Chinese disability ministry resources and a Chinese workshop on disability inclusion. 

Please register for the workshops on church centre. 

And of course, don’t miss the Ohana Sunday Lunch prepared by our Tamil Ministry, with all proceeds going toward our Land Lease Renewal, to keep SKMC a place of welcome and discipleship for years to come. 

Come celebrate God’s grace and our Ohana family together!
