Tanjung Pinang Missions Trip

We give thanks for the missions exploratory trip to Tanjung Pinang from 5 – 7 July. The team taught Chinese tuition, went for home visitation, helped the evangelist to clear the grass outside the church and serve in the worship service. We were all blessed as we serve the local church community.

CAC Special Session

The CAC Special Session will be taking place on 27 July 2024 where some difficult decisions will have to be made.

Please pray for wisdom and God’s leading as the delegates discuss the matters at hand. Pray for unity of Spirit and may God’s purpose be fulfilled and His name be glorified through the Session.

Collection of 2nd Offering for CAC Missions and Evangelism Sunday

We will be collecting a second offering for Missions and Evangelism Sunday today.
The offering collected will goes toward the support of CAC mission initiatives, including local missions, as well as evangelical training and outreach campaign.

DAM Youth Camp 2024

Date: 14 – 17 December 2024
Venue: SKMC & CSC Changi Chalet

D’Anchor youth ministry is finally back with our long-awaited, biennial youth camp. Over the span of 4 days & 3 nights, this camp serves as an opportunity for youths to bond, encounter & serve God together- therefore we highly encourage you to save the dates from the 14th to 17th of December. SK24 Tree Planting Day

Date: 28 September 2024
Time: 9 am – 11am
Venue: Sungei Serangoon Park Connector
In September, we will be celebrating our 24th anniversary! For SK24, we want to make a symbolic commitment to the 500,000 people that we are here to stay. We hope to plant 50 trees to symbolise our commitment to root ourselves in Sengkang and grow our ministry here, and steward God’s creation for the next generation

July 2024 Pulpit Series

We are entering a new sermon series for the month of July. The theme for this month is “Biblical Models for Leadership Succession through Discipleship”. What is succession? Succession is the process of identifying and developing new successors who can take over from leaders when they retire, die, step down or leave office. It’s a time-tested and trusted model that we see woven all through the Bible. In this series, we will hear and learn biblical truths from the following biblical characters:

• Moses mentored Joshua.
• Elijah mentored Elisha.
• Paul mentored his spiritual son Timothy.
• Naomi mentored her daughter-in-law, Ruth.

Leadership in the Bible is all about succession. This succession through discipleship is relational, intentional, and transformational through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Let us be hearers and doers of the Word of God.

CAC Missions and Evangelism Sunday

Next Sunday, 21 July is CAC Missions and Evangelism Sunday, Missions ministry will be setting up a booth at level 1 after service where we will share photos of the past missions trips to Chiangmai and Tanjung Pinang. The missions trippers will be around to interact and share their experiences. Come and indicate your interest to join missions trips for next year.
