Thanksgiving for Community Prayer Experience 2022

We give thanks for the opportunity to understand our very own Methodist Social Principles and pray through some of the social issues that we hardly think about on a daily basis. It gave us new lenses when we read the newspapers about things in our natural world, technological advances etc. We praise God for this opportunity to learn to pray for these issues.

CAC Sunday

Today is CAC Sunday. There will be a second collection to support the Conference Central Pooling Fund.

This year, all the CAC pastors will be assigned to different congregations to preach. Rev Niam to Changi Methodist Church (English); Rev Tan-Yeo to Geylang MC (Hokkien); Rev Nathanael Goh to Geylang MC (English); Ps Michael Lee to Grace MC (Mandarin). May the Lord guide and bless all the pastors and CAC.

Fundraising for Creation Care Conference 2022

Creation Care Singapore’s inaugural Creation Care Conference is happening on 9-10 September 2022! Held live at Katong Presbyterian Church with a whopping 15 speakers over two days (including our own Rev Nat!), it serves as a gathering place for Christians to be equipped with a biblical understanding of how to love God’s world in all areas of our lives.

We will be selling stickers and artwork by local Christian artists on 21 August to fundraise for the conference. We are still $2500 away from what we need to honour our speakers and artists fairly.Please support us by coming to our booth beside the spiral staircase next Sunday!

Community Bible Experience (CBE) 2022

Welcome CAC Sunday Preacher

Our preacher today is Rev Glenn Tan. Rev Glenn is currently associate pastor at Toa Payoh Chinese Methodist Church, as well as a vice-chairperson of the CAC Board of Youth Ministry. He has been a pastor with the CAC since 2016. Despite English being his dominant language, he has been posted to Chinese congregations all this time! He is married with 2 kids Kristlyn and Kristan. Kristan has moderate autism. Rev Glenn will be coming to speak at Sengkang again for Ohana Sunday later this year. Welcome, Rev Glenn!
