English Basic Missions Training

This is our last run of the Basic Missions Training for this year, conducted in English. If you have signed up for missions trips, it is compulsory for you to attend this training to understand Cross-Cultural Missions. You are welcome to attend even if you have not signed up for any Missions trips.

OAKS National Day Punggol Waterway Walk

Join OAKS for a walk on 9 August along the scenic Punggol Waterway. All are welcome to join the walk. Please register via the Church Centre App.

CAC Sunday

This Sunday is designated as CAC Sunday. There will be a second collection for CAC.

The CAC pastors are assigned to different churches to preach.

2nd Offering
The Methodist Church practices an itinerant system where pastors commit to serving in whichever church or ministry they are appointed to. CAC Sunday reminds us that our churches belong to one annual conference, that is, CAC!

The Special 2nd Offering collected this Sunday goes toward CAC’s Central Pooling Fund, which supports CAC’s pastoral, board and ministry expenses. Thus, we appeal to the support and generosity of church members to give lovingly.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

May the Lord continue to use CAC and all of our churches for His mission of salvation to all who believe.

Thanksgiving for Tanjung Pinang Missions Trip 1 – 3 Aug 2025

We thank God for the 3 days spent connecting:
• with the elderly at the old folk’s home,
• with the students during tuition and sisters and brothers in Christ during home visitation and worship service.

We experienced the love of God as we serve with a united heart and were greatly encouraged by the lives of the brothers and sisters in Christ.

This year, Sengkang Methodist Church turns 25!
It’s a time not just to celebrate, but to reflect, and give thanks.

We’ll be journeying through five key words that shape who we are as a church:
记 (Remember), Agape (圣爱), 代 (Generation), Faith (信), and Grace (恩).

17 August – 记
We remember the story of how God led SKMC from a mustard seed into a growing church family.
Four members will share their SKMC story, and we invite you to reflect on yours too.

24 August – Agape
Come explore how we love and serve our neighbours.
Our outreach partners will be setting up booths after both services, discover how you can get involved!

14 September – 代
A combined celebration service to give thanks for 25 years of God’s faithfulness and to commit ourselves afresh to the next generation.
All are welcome! Invite your family, friends and even those who were a part of SKMC’s journey in the past.

27 September – Faith
Walk the neighbourhood and pray for our community.
Let’s sow seeds of faith and cover the ground with God’s love. Register now via Church Center App.

26 October – Grace
A celebration of God’s grace through our special needs ministry, and there will be a post-service workshop for all to learn.
