Leadership Retreat
The leadership team had a 3d2n retreat from 1-3 February. Praise God for the fruitful time. We are thankful for God’s presence and guidance throughout our time together. As we return to our roles with renewed spirits and vision may we continue to lean on His strength and walk in unity.

Chinese New Year Service & Ten Thousand Blessings
Chinese New Year Celebration Service (Jointly Hosted by CMC & SKMC)
Date: 11 February 2024 (Sunday)
Time: 9 – 10 am
During the service, special red packets filled with curated Bible verses and personal blessings will be distributed for you to share with your loved ones. Last week, 2,000 slips were provided for you to write these curated verses; remember to bring them back to church (next week and the week after) for insertion into the fish-designed red packets. This week, we have printed more slips, so please collect and write more, as our target is 10,000 Blessings. We’ve also provided a list of verses curated by the pastoral office that we strongly recommend you use.
Starting this week, craft these unique red packets with fish designs together as a community, in church or your cell. Stay tuned for a video on making these fish. Bring your fish next week onwards; we’ll start placing your handwritten verses in these symbolic fishes.
Let’s collectively make “Ten Thousand Blessings” a beautiful celebration of God’s love, spreading joy and light during this festive Chinese New Year season. Embark on this heartfelt journey of writing blessings from the Living Word of God, and together, share these blessings with loved ones.

Collection of Palm Leaves
As we approach the season of Lent, we kindly ask you to return the dried palm leaves that were distributed during past Palm Sunday services.
Your participation in this collection holds a special significance, as these palm leaves will be burned during the Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the Lenten season.
Please bring back the dried palm leaves and drop them off outside the sanctuary, over the next two weeks.
