1st Cell Gathering for 2023 – The Art of Befriending

Let us come together for the first cell gathering of 2023, happening on 10th Feb Friday at 7.30pm where we will focus on learning how to build a culture of radical welcome in every area of our church.

This special evening will be a workshop-style session where you will learn about: – welcoming as discipleship – experiential learning and practical handles for interaction etiquette with people across all ages who have different needs (Elderly/Dementia, Special Needs, Profound physical and mental disability)

The pastors and leadership team strongly encourage all to join in as we embark on a journey of faith towards building a caring community, so that SKMC can truly become “A Place for You”, where everyone has a place to belong. Missions Sharing Session

Alpha @SKMC

Do you know of people searching for the meaning of life or faith? Alpha @ SKMC will be starting on 19 February. Alpha is a non-threatening course that allows them to explore the meaning of life and faith with us.

Ministry Fair Sunday 5 Feb 2023

Is God calling you to share your faith, time, gifts and talents? Please stop by the fair if you are thinking about ways to share your gifts or would just like more information on what is going on at SKMC. The Fair will showcase all our church’s ministries and you will be able to see how your particular gifts can be used to serve others. Something for all ages – bring the kids!

Church Camp 2023

Date: 11 – 14 June 2023 (Sunday – Wednesday)
Location: Hotel JEN Johor Puteri Harbour
Speaker: Rev Henson Lim
Theme: To be Awakened, Aligned and Assigned

Registration starts next week on 5 February 2023 and will be closing on 14 April 2023. If you sign up and pay before 26 March, you would be able to enjoy the early bird price! Please register via Church Centre app.

Should you need help to register, the camp comm will be setting up booths after service once a month between February and April.

Hakka Methodist Church
Hakka Methodist Church is looking to recruit a part-time finance executive. The role mainly requires the executive to manage a full set of accounts, monitor the annual budget and prepare financial reports for management review, namely by the Finance Committee and the LCEC, working closely with the Treasurer and Chairperson of the Finance Committee.

Requirements: A Singapore Citizen or PR, at least ‘A’ Level or Diploma
qualifications and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
